Well, it’s been some time since I have last written. I needed some time to be by myself to unravel my feelings regarding my condition. And I think I have come to a way of life that is satisfying and encouraging. I have not called the doctor and he has not called me so I feel comfortable choosing this road for now. I want to give it a month or two to see if there are any changes in my condition. If it stays the same or looks better, I will continue along this path. Otherwise, I will call the doctor and together we will have to plan the future.
I am going the straight natural way. I am exercising three times a week and rebounding and walking. I no longer eat sugar, flour, processed food, and dairy or meat of any kind. In my plant-based diet, I have added seaweed, miso, tempeh and tofu. I will eat fish once a week. I eat only wild fish and cook it by poaching and similar styles, very little oil. My mood is terrific and I keep interested in life because I feel so good.
We are still in the middle of Covid 19 and, in fact, the president and his wife were diagnosed with the Corona Virus this morning. It will be interesting to hear if he still considers this pandemic a hoax. Also, since the president was diagnosed, someone wrote, and I quote “this is the day that the Democrats started believing in God and the Republicans started believing in science.” We have a little over three weeks before Election Day and it appears the Republican Party and the White House are trying to interfere with the voting which has not been a real problem prior to these chaotic times. I pray there will not be a civil war in this country. These are tense times in our country.
I keep my stress level and my blood pressure at a normal pace which is necessary for my condition. Paul and I voted and took our ballots to the Del Ray Beach Office of the Board of Elections. I could not believe my eyes how many people were wearing masks and safe distancing. They were not only voting early but were hand carrying their ballots to this office instead of the Post Office. I don’t know what Mr. Trump would think about these patriots?
