It is hard to believe but two weeks have gone by since the 2020 Election. Joe Biden received 306 electoral votes which put him over the top of the 270 votes which were needed. He is the President-Elect for the United States of America and he will be inaugurated on January 20, 2021.
But, not according to Donald Trump. He and his cronies are doing everything possible to change the vote illegally in his favor. He is acting like a dictator who won’t leave the White House. Every day we hear of a new scheme and in the meantime, he is calling our election a fraud when it has been proved to be the most secure election in history.
What will happen in the immediate future, no one knows. But in the meantime, President-Elect Joe Biden moves ahead in spite of all the obstacles that are put in his way. We pray for our Democracy. We pray for quieter heads to prevail so that there can be a smooth transition. But, at the moment, it is total chaos delivered by Trump and members of the Republican party who support his gangster methods. I hope to have better news the next time you hear from me. I did get the winning ticket but it is too early to open that bottle of champagne.
