Here it is, the night before the biopsy on my right arm.  It has taken about a month in the “system” to finally get to this point.  It is amazing how much miscommunication there can be between doctors and less communication between doctors and patients.  Aw, another spelling of patients……patient.  That is what I have been these past few weeks while trying to navigate the medical profession.

I seem to be working with three doctors; my primary doctor, my dermatologist, and the surgeon who told me “that is what I do, remove lumps and bumps”. Well, I wasn’t ready to go under the knife until there was some more research.  So I wanted a biopsy first.  I will say it here and now and out loud that I don’t have cancer.  But for that one, tiny, annoying speck at the back of my mind, I decided to check it out first.

Of course, you will hear from me tomorrow after the procedure. And I may not get any results for 48 hours. But stay tuned.

I am including a photo of my dinner this evening.  It was nourishing and naturing.  Kathy made tempeh meat balls with Italian tomato sauce with broccoli and garlic over turmeric pasta.  What a great dinner!  It was healthy, delicious and vegan or vegetarian.  I was macrobiotic for eight years and most recently embrace a plant based diet.  I feel really good eating this way.  And, by the way, this morning I zoomed onto my pilates class.  And, since it was below 100 degrees today, Kathy and I took a nice long walk.  So, this is what my day was like today, the day before the biopsy.
