I now know why I prefer going the “natural route” in my life. I am mostly a vegetarian, I walk or work out three times a week, I have happy thoughts and I walk away from negative people. But I have had a bump in the road or excuse that pun as it really is a bump on my arm.

I have recently seen three doctors, have had a Cat Scan and an MRI and a Mammography and numerous phone calls which I will list for you.

After my initial consultation with the Surgeon, I decided I wanted a biopsy first. It turns out the bump/lump is close to the lymph nodes so no matter what the biopsy would show, the decision by the doctors who are in contact with each other, would be to remove it anyway. It is on my upper right arm between my elbow and shoulder. I am not in pain and feel really well.

So now I am in the “medical system”. My phone rings daily. Now I am supposed to have another consultation with another doctor; a Plastic Surgeon who would do reconstructive surgery. Really? If I were having reconstructive surgery I would prefer they move up higher to my face………. Then I heard that I would need a set of blood tests and perhaps a Cardiogram. The phone rings again and now I am supposed to get a Covid-19 test to see if I am positive. Well, I know I am a very positive person but not positive for the virus. I feel too good.

I was told I could get these tests in Boca at the hospital but that is a drive from Boynton Beach and my Primary Doctor could handle theses tests here. Let’s just say I don’t want to waste gas or aggravation maneuvering the hospital corridors.

Stay tuned to see where my bump in the road takes me.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you that I am trying to heal by using a gauze wrapping with freshly squeezed Wheat Grass. I started the blog by mentioning my “natural” lifestyle. Let’s see if this will shrink the bump/lump before the Surgeon calls me with the date.
